Re: Charlie

Hi Andy and Sue, Hope you are both well and enjoying the beautiful weather, as we are . Just to give you a update on how Charlie is doing and to send you some more photo's of Charlie to show you how quickly he is growing and changing.

We took him to a puppy party last Wednesday and we really enjoyed it, although Charlie was very shy, he and another puppy were unsure of the other puppies. Charlie kept running off and hiding underneath people's chairs and following us around, and sitting near people's feet anytime a puppy wanted to come and say hello to him. However, while we were there we had to hold each others puppies and Charlie was such a god boy, he just happily sat on everybodys laps and made no fuss. We will be taking him to puppy obedience classes for 4 weeks soon which we are looking forward to.

Charlie is doing brilliantly at toilet training he is such a quick learner, we do not need to put any newspaper down at night now because he no longer has any accidents in the night. He is also doing brilliantly at being told to stay, and when he chases a toy the majority of the time he always brings it back to us.

We took him for his first walk, and he really enjoyed it, people were stopping us wanting to come and say hello to him. One man came to say hello to him, and he picked him up and said how lovely he was and he wanted to go and show him to his wife, he was really taken by him and he said to us, that he thought he was the most beautiful puppy that he had ever seen.

It was really lovely to see and hear how Charlie's brothers and sister are getting on, they are all such gorgeous puppies. Speak to you both again soon, with best wishes Pam, Mike and family.

Re: Tilly

Dear Sue and Andy

Well Tilly is six and a half months now and as gorgeous as ever. She is the most gentle, sweet natured, intelligent little dog. Everyone stops us to stroke her and as soon as they do she is straight on her back for a tummy tickle!

She had her operation last Thursday (no babies) and has had to wear a cone to stop her getting at her stitches. For the first couple of days she was totally fed up and would hardly come to me (because I was the one that took her to the vet) and sat with her dad all the time. She is a lot better now and when she can get back on that beach and in the sea she will be back to her normal self.

I can't possibly put into words how she has enriched our lives, (so much so that we are thinking about getting her a brother or sister but will need to speak to you about that) it doesn't seem long ago I was sitting in the car with her on my lap on our way to the airport.

Anyway we hope that you are both well.

Take care

Love Shannie Charlie and, of course, Tilly.xxxx

Re: Bertie

Dear Sue and Andy

Cant believe that Bertie will soon be a year old! Sorry its been so long to update you - for such a beautiful boy he is a nightmare to photograph!

Bertie is just wonderful. He is all fully grown - weighing in at just under 14kilos (although Im sure most of that is hair!). We have kept his hair long - just choosing to have a puppy clip instead as he really suits it long and its defnately his crowning glory.

We are constantly stopped by people asking what he is (guesses range from Tibetan Terrier to Portuguese water dog).

He absolutely loves the water - and can sense it a mile off!

He is such a friendly happy dog and very very bright! we are hoping to start him with agility when he is a little older.

I have enclosed a few pics (hopefully). One of them is with his half sister 'poppy' who he sees reguarly for long walks. The other one is Bertie on the beach - with his favoured attire - sunglasses!! not sure why but he was very happy sitting wearing these!

Hope you are all well.

Best wishes,

Donna, Marcus, Gus and Bertie x
