Re: Harvey

Hi Sue and Andy,

It feels like ages since we have been in touch with Harvey's progress, so here is an update:

Harvey has been going to puppy training classes and is doing really well, the final class is this Thursday and we will be doing a little agility training to give them a taster before he moves up to the Juvenille class next week. He loves going and meeting up with his other puppy friends and last week the trainer had them running through an expandable tunnel which Harvey found a breeze due to being the littlest and charged straight through to meet me and his treat at the other side. We were visiting some friends for the weekend who also have a dog (black lab, Harrison) and when we went for a long walk Harrison, who loves swimming, leaped into the water to retrieve a stick his mummy had thrown for him closely followed by Harvey who was so fast we couldn't grab him until he was fully submersed in water. I don't know who got the biggest fright but he soon swam straight back to us and after a good shake wanted back for more. Needless to say we didn't allow it as we would rather wait until we get a shallower 'cockapoo' safe depth of water. I have attached a photograph of him dripping wet after the event. Hopefully all the other pups are doing as well and it is great to read all the blogs on the website. We are already thinking about getting a wee brother/sister for Harvey next year so please keep us posted as to the next litter of either miniature or toy American Cockapoos that you are planning. Everyone loves him and we are such proud parents, he is a joy!

P.s. the other pic is when he recently got hold of a toilet roll when we were not watching and had a great time thinking he was the andrex puppy.

Lots of love,

Ken, Yvonne & Lauren xx

Re: Charlie

Hi Andy and Sue,

We hope that you both had a good summer too. Sorry that we have not been in touch earlier, we had to rearrange Charlie's appointment at the grooming parlour, and we then had to wait a while for another appointment.

We have taken some photos of Charlie after he had his trim, and he can now see a lot better. He was really good and while we were there he had his feet trimmed too. We also thought about getting his fur cut but the lady at the grooming parlour thought that it did not need cutting just yet.

He is starting his puppy training next Wednesday. He really enjoyed his doggy days out and so did we, he is such a bundle of fun and we love him to pieces,

speak to you both again soon,

love from Pam, Mike and family
