Re: 'Peggy' (Biscuit)
Hi Sue and Andy,
Hope you are well, just to let you know how we are all doing.
It seems a long time ago that I emailed you so desperate for a puppy and the agony of waiting to be chosen as a suitable parent.
Peggy (its the name we now call her) has been with us for 1 week and I just cant believe our luck she is such a good girl! As you know our biggest fear was our over indulged alpha cats being put out, but they have not made too much fuss at all, I'm sure the way things are going they will actually be buddies.
Toilet training is going well a couple of in door wees, but our fault for not being on the ball.
Feeding - no problem.
"Sit" perfect, "come" and "fetch" a bit hit and miss but we are getting there.
Sleeping at night is our biggest hurdle, I have spent most nights on the sofa (hugged up with Peg), but last night I left the TV on and had 6 hours straight sleep in my own bed.
I have been following Jan Fennell, the Dog Listener's training and Oh my god it all makes sense. Peggy is the perfect puppy !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for allowing us to adopt one of your babies.
Clive and Rose

Re: 'Maisy'
Dear Sue and Andy,
We hope you are all well and enjoying a bit of peace and quiet!! I know I sent you an email but it was from a strange Picassa album account so I am not sure that you got it? I just wanted to let you know how well Maisy is doing.
She has settled in so well and is such a pleasure to have around. She loves her crate and often disappears in there for a bit of peace and quiet! After crying for a long time (so horrible!) on the first night, she now sleeps perfectly. She is eating well and is having lots of fun in the garden, especially when being chased around by Ben and Sam. We start training classes tomorrow so I will let you know how that goes.
I had to send you the attached photo and I think it should be named "Optimism"!!! Maisy met my friend's very gentle Lab (Mr Darcy) in our garden and had a lovely time but think she was under some strange illusion that she could actually take him for a walk!
Will email you again soon with updates but thank you so much for such a wonderful puppy.
With love from
Emma, Richard, Ben and Sam xxxx

Re: 'Bobby'
Hi Sue and Andy,
Just a quick update and a few photos of Bobby. He is coming along well, can sit and is brilliant at fetch. He was very brave yesterday had his 2nd jab and was also chipped. He has definitely grown in size and has gained a little weight, but is so active in the garden thats not surprising. His feathers are developing more, particularly on his legs. Not house trained quite yet! but coincidence more often than not means he goes outside, generally! he is quiet at night now, he has one of Williams old teddies whom he loves, and sleeps on. His nickname is Houdini as no gate or barrier is an obstacle between the dining room and living room carpet. And he has a real taste for pigs ears, keep him busy for hours. Jon being a butcher gave him a treat of a marrow bone which he devoured enthusiastically but whimpered with frustration when he realised he couldn't quite reach the middle. He really is the most fun little dog, we can't wait to show him off on walks and is the most incredible time waster, he loves to cuddle up on my lap for a snooze. We love him dearly, the boys are so smitten its lovely.
Best Wishes Stephanie and family
